Shengtai Dianhong Maofeng is a type of tea made in Linzang County, grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or chemical pest control agents. Its appearance consists of middle-sized thin flagella of brown leaves and fluffy reddish-yellow buds. The fragrance is deep, fruity with spicy hints, while the liquor is transparent and chestnut in color.

The ready-made tea has a vivid and warm bouquet, fruity-spicy with woody, honey, and pastry notes. Its fragrance is deep and warm with fruity-spicy undertones. The taste is rich and full-bodied with a bit of tartness and sweetness, along with citrus sourness and light spicy nuances, ultimately leading to a lingering finish.

To brew this tea, use hot water (95°C) in a gaiwan or teapot made of porous clay. The proportion is 5 g per 100 ml. The first steeping should last for 6-8 seconds, followed by short steeps (just for 2-3 seconds), gradually increasing the steeping time for each subsequent step if necessary. This method can be repeated up to 10 times.

Shengtai Dianhong Maofeng is a great choice for daily tea breaks due to its vivid, juicy, and very fragrant characteristics. It also has a warming and soft tonic effect.
