"Fajiao Yue Guang Bai" is a premium Pu-erh tea made from the first spring shoots of the rare BaYue Guang Bai (White Moonlight) tea variety in Jinggu Mountains (Pu-erh County). During processing, the tea was slightly fermented (fajiao) to bring out its unique flavor.

This 100g teacake has a medium density and can be effortlessly broken into large, fluffy, beige and silvery buds, as well as light and dark brown leaves with thin cuttings. The aroma is delicate and honey-floral, while the infusion is transparent with a golden almond shade.

The bouquet of the tea is bright and multifaceted, with fruity, woody, floral, biscuit, and spicy notes. The aroma is warm, tender, and fruity with a honey accent. The taste is full-bodied, juicy, and sweetish with a citrus sourness and delicate spicy nuances, leading to a lingering finish.

Brew "Fajiao Yue Guang Bai" with hot water (90-95°C) in a gaiwan or a teapot made of porous clay. The recommended proportion is 5g per 100ml. Start with a 5-7 second steeping time for the first brew, and then do short steeps (just for 1-2 seconds) increasing steeping time for each subsequent step if necessary. You can enjoy this tea up to 10 times.

This premium Pu-erh tea is a great natural tonic, perfect for daily tea breaks, and especially recommended for fans of fruity Pu-erh teas.
